Character Descriptions: OSCAR MADISON Age Range: Early 30s to late 50s Gender: Male Personality Traits: Carefree, easygoing, messy, humorous, good-hearted Appearance: Disheveled, often wearing casual, rumpled clothes Background/Occupation: A sportswriter who is recently divorced, enjoys his freedom, and often hosts poker games with friends Key Relationships: Roommate and friend to Felix Ungar. His relationship with Felix drives the central conflict of the story. Role in the Story: Oscar’s messy lifestyle clashes with Felix’s neat habits, creating comedic and heartfelt situations as they navigate living together.
